Geoff

Geoff Gartner, PE - President and CEO

After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1997, Geoff moved to Jacksonville as an engineer intern to join the staff of the first company in the region to engage value engineering in residential construction. This postgraduate education in innovation in a youthful and entrepreneurial environment inspired Geoff to set his eyes on a future of structural engineering business ownership. At the center of his life have been his faith, his bride of greater than three decades, and his two (now grown) children. Balancing work and life delicately, he has produced a work environment that promotes collegiality and values personal fulfillment outside the office. He is licensed in Florida and Georgia. 

Effrain

Efrain Sevilla – Design Engineer

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Efrain earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Santa María University in 1989, concentrating in Structures and Roadways. He began his career contributing to multi-family, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, hospitality, and marine projects, developing strong expertise in structural analysis, design, and field coordination. After relocating to Florida in 2004, Efrain broadened his experience across residential and commercial construction management. He joined AGC as a Structural Engineer in 2015, delivering design, drafting, and permitting documentation for a wide range of projects. He appreciates AGC’s collaborative culture and its practical, detail-oriented approach to engineering. Efrain actively serves in his church’s internationals, ESL, and translation ministries, and has spent nearly a decade investing in youth through camps and mission trips. He also enjoys boogie boarding, surf photography, and exploring complex software tools.
